Dear all Members, this request is on behalf of the Club’s Range Maintenance Officer,

How would you like 10% off your membership fee*? You would, well if you come along and help at any of the activities listed below this would count towards that reduction!

There are many activities which you could get involved with, such as: helping out with some essential range maintenance, volunteering at a Fun Shoot day, volunteering at any one of the Club’s Open Shoots, assisting new members during the Probationer Induction sessions.

The next essential range maintenance session(s) will be on:

Saturday 27th January,
Saturday 24th February,
Saturday 30th March,
Saturday 27 April.

All from 09:00 (9am)

If you’re available to come along and give support to general but essential range maintenance; we’d be pleased to welcome you!

Monthly Tasks required:
~ Controlling the vegetation
~ Replace shot-up slats on target frames
~ Continue with 50m retention boards for sand, there’s only a couple more meters to do!
~ Weeding of 50m and 100yd stop-butt sand
~ Rake upwards 50m and 100yd stop-butt sand
~ Leaf removal from gutters on 50m and 100yd firing points
~ General clean and tidy of inside of clubhouse seating area, kitchen and toilets
~ Empty bins on firing points, sweep and general tidy up
~ General tyidying up and relocating items underneath the trees at the
front.

The Indoor Range:
In addition to the regular maintenance, the indoor range development may also need members to assist and we’ll tell what’s required nearer the date.

Please bring these tools/ equipment if have them:
~ Scythe(s)
~ Strimmer(s)
~ Brush-cutter(s)
~ Digging fork
~ Garden Rake
~ Digging spade/ shovel

If you intend to come along and help with maintenance; please let me know that you’ll be there so we can plan how much food and beverages we will need to buy-in.

The Club will provide food and beverages free of charge to those who help, so
if you have any food allergies please let us know, so we can do our best to cater for your dietary requirements.
